Could you deliver earlier than your opening time at 7am? 

• Yes, we can. When you create your reservation, please specify the time you would like us to deliver. We will confirm with you once your reservation is set. 

Do you have lightweight kayaks? 

• No, our lightest kayak is around 75 lbs. Our kayaks are built for stability, safety and comfort. This is the reason we will do all the heavy lifting for you. If you want to rent a kayak and take it with you then be aware that the kayaks are heavy. 

What types of kayaks do you offer for rent?

• We offer a variety of kayaks, including singles, tandem, fishing, and padel. All of which are sit-on-top built for stability and comfort. 

Will you deliver to our Airbnb? 

• Yes, we can. When you choose the location of your drop off, select “other” and enter in the address of your location. 

Can we change our time of pick up after our reservation starts? 

• Yes, this can happen when you think you will be kayaking for the whole day but once you are out there your day gets cut short for some reason. Just call us about an hour before you need the kayaks/paddleboards picked up. 

Do you provide life jackets and other safety equipment?

• Yes, safety is our top priority. We provide Coast Guard - approved life jackets and other necessary safety equipment with every rental.

Are reservations required for kayak/paddle board rentals?

• To ensure availability reservations are required. 

Can you take reservations over the phone?

• Yes, feel free to call us with questions and we can enter your reservation over the phone. 

What are your rental rates and durations?

• Our rates are based on full-day rental. Whether it's for 2 hours or 6 hours.

Do you charge a delivery fee?

• Our deliveries are free of charge, unless they are outside our county. We will occasionally allow a rental outside our normal area. For more information, please call us.

Do you offer guided kayak tours?

• No, at this time we do not offer tours. There are guides we can connect you with if you would like a tour guide. 

Is prior kayaking experience necessary to rent a kayak?

• No prior experience is required for most rentals. We will provide basic instruction on paddling techniques and safety before you embark on your adventure.

Are there any age or weight restrictions for kayaking or paddle boarding?

•  While there are no strict age restrictions, minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Weight restrictions may apply depending on the type of kayak or paddle board.

Can I transport the kayak or paddle board to a different location for paddling? 

• Yes, you are welcome to transport the kayak to a different location for paddling, provided you have the necessary equipment like roof rack and straps and obtain permission from our staff.

What do I do if I need to cut our reservation short due to health or personal reasons?

• Give us a call and we will come and pick up the kayaks/paddle boards early. 

What do I do if I get lost kayaking/paddle boarding? 

• This can happen in the mangroves. Don’t panic! Pull out your maps on your phone. This will allow you to see where you are located in the area. Use the map to find your way back. Let us know if you need more time to get back to the pick-up location.
